About
Champagne Alain Bedel is a family-owned récoltant-manipulant and vigneron indépendant based in Charly-sur-Marne in the Vallée de la Marne, with roots on the Porteron hillsides dating back to around 1540. Lucien Bedel launched the estate's Champagne production in 1954, and his son Alain expanded the domaine to 8 hectares, cultivating all three noble Champagne varieties — Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay — on south-facing slopes. The house is known for producing authentic, natural Champagnes across a range that includes non-vintage Brut, Brut Nature (zero dosage), Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and old-vine vintage cuvées, with a commitment to minimal intervention and traditional pressing methods.
