Founded in 1926 by André Tixier in the Premier Cru village of Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims, Champagne André Tixier & Fils is a family-owned récoltant-manipulant estate now in its fourth generation under winemaker Julien Tixier. The house farms approximately 5 hectares across 26 plots, cultivating all three classic Champagne varieties — Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay — under HVE certification and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne standards. Julien Tixier is particularly noted for championing Pinot Meunier, producing elegant, terroir-driven cuvées that reflect the chalky hillside soils between Reims and Épernay.
