About
Champagne Banette is a family-owned grower-producer based in Tauxières-Mutry, in the Val de Livre commune of the Montagne de Reims, with roots going back to 1920 and now in its fourth generation under Loïc Banette. The house is distinguished by its unusually extended aging philosophy: even the entry-level Brut spends a minimum of five years on lees in the cellar, with the top Réserve cuvée resting for seven years before disgorgement. The range — anchored by Pinot Noir-dominant assemblages — spans from a zero-dosage to a demi-sec, all made with transparent technical details and sold at accessible prices direct from the estate.
