Champagne Boizel is a family-owned Champagne house founded in 1834 by Auguste Boizel and Julie Martin in Épernay, today led by the sixth generation, Florent and Lionel Roques-Boizel. The house has a history of innovation: one of the first Brut Champagnes (1872), an early Blanc de Blancs (1929), the prestige cuvée Joyau de France (1961), Cuvée Sous Bois vinified in old oak barrels (1990), and Ultime Zéro, an early zero-dosage cuvée (2008). Boizel owns 7 hectares of vines around Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and sources further Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier from partner growers across Grand and Premier Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne. Its historic 'Trésor' cellar preserves bottles dating back to 1834. In 2018 the house opened the Atelier 1834, a visitor and tasting space at its 46 avenue de Champagne premises in Épernay.
