Our 2017 Blanc de Blancs Vintage is now disgorged and available. Three years of additional post-disgorgement rest have softened the wine's natural austerity into something more complete — lemon curd, white peach and the unmistakable chalk dust that is the signature of Avize Grand Cru.

About
A small, family-run estate in Avize, the jewel of the Côte des Blancs Grand Cru villages. Corbon works exclusively with Chardonnay from its own Avize parcels, producing Blanc de Blancs of precise, chalky minerality and fine persistent bead. The house represents the quiet, unshowy side of Avize — meticulous vineyard work, unhurried lees ageing, and a belief that the greatest Champagnes are made in the vineyard, not the cellar.
From the House
Avize Blanc de Blancs and oysters is one of Champagne's most celebrated pairings — the wine's salinity and crisp acidity mirror the minerality of the oyster without competing with it. Served with a mignonette of shallot and Champagne vinegar, it becomes something transcendent.
The 2023 harvest in Avize was among the earliest in living memory. Our Chardonnay parcels showed exceptional sugar-acid balance — higher natural sugars than 2022, with acidity that remained vivid throughout. A vintage that will not need long ageing to show its quality.
