Issu d'une famille de vignerons, Daniel Caillez founded his estate in 1977 in Damery, in the Vallée de la Marne, 6km from Épernay. On his retirement in 2003, his son Vincent Caillez took over, adding a note of modernity while preserving traditional Champenois methods. The 5.60-hectare estate spans the terroirs of Damery and Vauciennes, planted with the three Champagne grape varieties (Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir), sourced exclusively from the estate's own vines.
