About
Champagne Durdon-Bouval is a family estate in Vincelles, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, farming approximately 6.87 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. Ludovic (Ludo) and Sandie Durdon took over the domaine in 2000, the third generation of the family to run it, and have since been joined by their children Antoine and Sipriane. The estate has been certified organic since 2013 and obtained biodynamic certification for the majority of its surface in 2023; cellar philosophy favours minimal intervention to preserve the fruit's authenticity and each cuvée's terroir character. Since 2021 the domaine has had its own press and winery, allowing it to carry out all vinification on site (previously entrusted to the local cooperative). The range includes Vinicella (a Pinot Noir-Meunier blend), Candide Blanc de Blancs Bio (offered in both Brut Nature and Extra Brut versions, oak-aged and malolactic), and the single-parcel zero-dosage cuvées Les Sablons (100% Meunier, Verneuil), Les Clos (100% Pinot Noir, Passy-sur-Marne) and Les Macarons (100% Chardonnay, Barzy-sur-Marne, Demeter-certified biodynamic).
