Our Spécial Club 2018 has just been released — a vintage of exceptional concentration from our finest Premier Cru parcels in Ludes and Mailly-Champagne. Pinot Noir dominant, fermented in stainless steel, aged five years on lees. The result is deeply structured and built for at least a decade of further development.

About
A fourth-generation grower estate in Ludes-le-Coquet, a Premier Cru village on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Thierry Forget, a trained oenologist, farms 13 hectares across 60 parcels in 11 villages, with Pinot Meunier as the dominant variety. Forget-Chemin has been a member of the Club Trésors de Champagne — the elite association of grower producers — since 1973, producing a Spécial Club cuvée in the finest vintages. The house style emphasises generosity, vinosity, and a warm Montagne character.
From the House
The Réserve Perpétuelle — our solera of reserve wines spanning back to 1991 — is exceptional with a charcuterie board of jambon de Reims and rillettes. The wine's depth from 25+ years of blended reserve wines handles the richness of cured meat without effort.
My daughter Marie has now taken over as press master at harvest — a role that demands acute sensory attention at every pressing. With 60 individual plots across 11 villages, our harvest logistics are complex, but the diversity of ripening dates across different exposures and soils is our greatest asset in blending.
