Based in Épernay, the capital of Champagne, G.H. Martel & Co. is a négociant-manipulant house with deep roots in the region's blending tradition. The house draws on grapes and base wines from across the appellation, producing an accessible, generously styled range suited to everyday celebration. Its Brut Tradition is a reliable introduction to Champagne's classic multi-cru blending approach, combining Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from the Marne's most productive areas.

Our Cuvée du Fondateur Blanc de Blancs 2015 is now available — a departure from our classic Pinot-led style, this single-vintage Blanc de Blancs showcases the finesse of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. After seven years on lees, it offers toasted brioche, white flowers and citrus zest in seamless harmony.
Our Brut Tradition is an excellent companion to a Sunday lunch with family — the wine's approachable style, fine mousse and balanced acidity work with everything from smoked salmon to roast lamb. Versatility is a virtue at the table.
As a négociant house drawing on grapes from across the appellation, our blending decisions in 2023 were shaped by unusual vintage variation. The Marne Valley Meunier was outstanding — soft and generous. The Côte des Blancs Chardonnay was leaner and more mineral than 2022. Both have a role in our future assemblages.
