Our Blanc de Blancs d'Aÿ et Dizy NV has just been released with the 2020 base vintage. Chardonnay from Aÿ — one of Champagne's most celebrated Pinot Noir villages — is a rarity that gives this wine an unusual weight and complexity. The 2020 base adds warmth and a tropical note absent from cooler years.

About
A family estate in Dizy, a Premier Cru village perched between the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley, directly opposite Épernay. The Chiquet family has farmed Dizy since 1746, and today Nicolas Chiquet manages some of the village's oldest and finest parcels. The house is known for its Blanc de Blancs d'Aÿ et Dizy — an unusual and compelling expression, since Aÿ is almost entirely planted with Pinot Noir, making Chardonnay from this terroir a remarkable rarity.
From the House
Our Spécial Club Vintage pairs magnificently with turbot en croûte — the wine's Pinot-driven structure and Chardonnay freshness create a remarkable balance with the richness of the pastry and the delicacy of the fish. A combination worthy of a special occasion.
Dizy sits at the crossroads of the Marne Valley and the Montagne de Reims, and our parcels benefit from this geographical complexity. In 2023 our Dizy Chardonnay ripened a full four days ahead of our Aÿ Chardonnay despite the short distance between them — a reminder that microclimate, not just terroir, shapes each harvest.
