Family grower Champagne house (Jean-Philippe Hoerter) in Essômes-sur-Marne, Vallée de la Marne. Explicitly self-described as 'Viticulteur Récoltant' / 'Récoltant Manipulant' throughout the site. Farms limono-argilo-sableux (silty clay-sand) soils, average vine age 40 years. Two ranges: 'Les Muses' (named for the three Champagne grapes as the winemaker's inspiration - Les 3 Muses, Les 2 Muses, Les Muses Rosées, Les Muses Millésime) and 'Intuition' (vintage-only cuvees, partly oak-worked - Intuition Rosée, Intuition Futée, Intuition Blanche). HVE and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne) certified. Regularly entered in Concours International Gilbert & Gaillard, Guide Hachette des Vins, Gault & Millau, and Decanter.
