Family grower Champagne house (Artisans-Vignerons), five generations, cultivating vines since 1884. Jacques Berthelot has handed the estate to his son Arnaud (with Valérie); a sixth generation is expected. 16 hectares spread between Dizy and Avenay (Premier Cru) and Aÿ (Grand Cru), farmed with reduced reliance on chemical treatments and certified HVE. In addition to classic three-varietal blends, the family produces several single-parcel cuvees.
