About
Established in Bouzy over 200 years ago, Pierre Paillard is now led by brothers Antoine and Quentin Paillard, representing the eighth generation of the family. The house owns 11 hectares of vineyards entirely in the Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy, characterized by chalky soil and south-facing exposure that gives Pinot Noir distinctive character. Since 2016, the brothers have committed to organic viticulture, long maceration under wood, and since 2018 have expanded to include fruit from other prestigious Montagne de Reims terroirs including Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay, Ludes, Taissy, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
