Cuvée Louis Zero 2013 is now available. Our flagship zero-dosage assemblage of old-vine parcels in Œuilly — Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier — aged for nine years on lees before disgorgement. The 2013 vintage's natural acidity makes zero dosage not a statement but a necessity: nothing should be added to this wine.

About
A pioneering independent estate in Œuilly, in the Marne Valley south of Épernay. The Tarlant family has farmed the same land for fourteen generations, and today Benoît and Mélanie Tarlant are among Champagne's most thoughtful and respected vignerons. The house is known for its single-parcel wines, zero-dosage philosophy and meticulous attention to terroir expression. Cuvée Louis and the single-vineyard Vigne d'Or are benchmarks for the grower Champagne movement.
From the House
Cuvée Louis Zero with aged Mimolette — the wine's zero dosage austerity is the perfect counterpoint to the Mimolette's crystalline, caramel intensity. The combination is unexpectedly complex: the wine opens up in the presence of the cheese in a way it never does alone.
We have farmed the same land for fourteen generations. Each new vintage is a conversation with the ones before it. Our oldest parcel — La Vigne d'Or — was planted by my grandfather in 1947 and has never been replanted. The massale selection that evolved over seventy years is irreplaceable.
