Veuve Fourny & Fils is a family grower producer based in Vertus, farming 20 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards exclusively on the limestone and chalk soils of the Côte des Blancs since 1856. Now in the fifth generation under brothers Emmanuel and Charles-Henry Fourny, the house is known for its meticulous, minimal-intervention approach: low dosage across the entire range, partial barrel ageing, and the use of grape juice rather than cane sugar in the liqueur d'expédition. The crown jewel is the Clos Faubourg Notre-Dame, a monopole of the Fourny family since 1930 and one of the very few true Clos in Champagne.
